Hi,

i suggest you to offline scan your system using the rescuedisc or update your local wks and create an rescue disc using the wizard.
Meanwhile you can update your wks, boot in safemode and rescan your system.

Have an eye on your autorun objects (use processmonitor to analyse) and remove them if necessary.

It seems that system partition have changed letter (eg. from D: to C: ). Is it described in Microsoft KB.
What letter had system (\windows) partition before installation? What was the partitions layout?

Try holding shift key (and hold it!!!:)) after entering your credentials, this bypasses all autorun actions.
