Hi guys,

We are upgrading the Kaspersky Administration Kit from version 6.0.1572 to 6.0.1710.

We are also converting our slave servers to updating agents

After I installed version 6.0.1710 on top of the old version and made the necessary adjustments everything works pretty well, I updated the network agents (that went smooth), however when I try to update my workstations I get a License Validation Failed error.

I am using the following task to update the workstation virus definitions:

I did an experiement with one of my workstations, what I did is I un-installed the Workstation Anti-Virus 6 and I re-installed it, I ran the updater again and voila it worked, see screenshot: (hotname: CMOBILE4B)

Both versions of Kaspersky 6 (6.0.1572 and 6.0.1710) have the exact same Workstation Anti-Virus version and are using the same file which is the exact same size (file name: kav6.0.3.837_winwksen.exe)

Another interesting fact is when I look at the version at the client side:

All the clients display exactly the same thing:

But the machine on which I un-installed and re-installed the Workstation Anti-Virus (CMOBILE4B), here is what I see:

As you can see it's a little different (product hotfix info for some reason)

I really need your help in fixing this licensing error. We have over 2000 workstations and un-installing and re-installing the Workstation Anti-Virus software on all of them is unacceptable to us..

Please let me know if you need any more details!
Many thanks!!
