Afternoon all,

I have a bit of an odd issue with some saved emails.

Alot of our users drag emails out of outlook and copy them into a folder on there home drive or local disk etc. But since I have installed kaspersky the users can no longer open the saved messages regardless of where they are stored.

Can anyone give me a fix for this?

Which exact version of KAV for Workstations are you using?

Try opening the messages directly in Outlook (File -> open). Do you get an error message then, too?

We are using 6.0.3.837

It also doesn't work if I try it that way also. It's not just the odd one or two it's seems to be all of them before I installed KAS. If I move one now to my desktop it will open that one.

Which version of Outlook are you using?

Please load the version 6.0.4.921 from the kaspersky ftp or from my site and install it on _one_ machine for testing purposes. Does the problem still occur with the new version?
