I can't get this GSI report to run. This GSI report is completely different you don't
have to unzip it or safe it you just click run, but for me it's been gathering a report
for 10 minutes now.

Is this the right GIS report? 4.0.0.233

Hey, Firestorm70

I used it bacially the same way as i did with it the old version , except the tool is on the same page up at the top of where it says download

click on this link to get to GSI Parser tool

http://gsi.kaspersky.fr

click on the download tab and select which tool is correct for your operating windows system (xp, vista, windows 2000,NT,98)

this creates a zip folder on your desk top

after its created click on the browse button tab and locate this zip file in this case its the desktop

Click on the submit tab

Thanks charlesT. I'm doing everything right the problem is this GSI report
has been gathering a report for 10 minutes now where the other GSI report gathered
a report in 2 minutes. Is this new GSI report supposed to take so long?
charlesT
for me it was about the same time frame a couple minutes max maybe less

Hello,

usually it should take only few minutes but sometimes it can be longer... (you can have a lot of logs, or a huge hosts file, an old computer, or you selected the "maximum" in the settings, or else ...)

But, is the tool freezing ?
If yes, when exactly ?

@Firestorm70

I guess I should have specified that I was scaning in the default mode(I have ticked options in settings, and moved the slider bar and takes longer like mentioned above) of theGSI Parser when I was mentioning my scan in case you was curious about that ,which in the default mode took about 2 minutes or less and my drive has very little on it (11.0GB on a 227GB) C drive

I forgot to mention that til I saw Kamille's post mentioning it
