Yes I had a similar problem yesterday (not sure if due to KMS but links with this users fault) but I for in bound messages (received) I got 'The contents of this message cannot be displayed' and for outbound messages I got an error about being unable to send. A soft reset seemed to fix the problem - in that I can send and receive messages OK now - but the ones received as 'The contents of this message cannot be displayed' still state this so I cannot retrieve them.
I am using an HTC Touch HD (T8282)
This is the known problem of the beta version it is not digitally signed. Everything must work fine after reboot except outgoing SMS filter in Parental control. Either you may unlock your device using Windows mobile standart SDK unlock tool or try it in the signed version. Anyway, we don't expect any problems with SMS feature on both locked or unlocked devices after reboot.
