shah jahan
Changed Realtime Protection setting to "Scan only Executables" and rebooted,
"K" icon disappears
Have to start the application manually (and then the icon will re-appear)

Btw if someone wants to see, this is the new interface of Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile : Click Here

The menu on the main screen of the phone..

Shouldnt it also have "UnLock Data" option when data is in encrypted form, so that user can quickly decrypt data instead of opening KMS

We have a special feature in beta version of the KMS8.0 if you boot the device from 0:00 to 6:00 KMS will not autostart, so "K" icon appears only when you start KMS manually.

No time to add it in list of features for KMS8, they are behind schedule... most probably this special feature will be added in kms 9 too smile.gif tongue.gif

(It was already mentioned that this was a bug in russian forum during beta 1 testing..)

I think this is the place for this..

When my phone has it's keyboard opened, KMS's menu messes up and overlaps itself.

(FYI, when they keyboard is opened the screen flips onto its side.)

I think two suggestions i made for KMS7 EE has to be repeated here because they would be something useful

1) arrow buttons for timetable (scheduler) - check screenshot
- If keyboard is big, then you cannot see the interface when adjusting time.

2) Ability to import phone number from contacts to use in Anti-Theft features.
- Big numbers are not easy to remember.

KMS shows the TIME in different formats..
In some places 12hr format is used, while in some places 24hr format is used..

For example... Base update info shows time in 24hr format, but schedule settings shows time in 12hr format!

It would be better to follow one format.. for example.. KMS will show time in 12hr format only (using AM/PM)

12hr format = 10:00 PM
24hr format = 22:00

Thank you for this observation, we will use one format in all places.

KMS should use time format defined in your regional settings. If somewhere formats differ it is a bug.

Thx, we will make make same time/date formats for all dialogs.

Lisense is designed to be centered, besause the number is too long to be displayed on low res devices

Hi,

A few comments on my initial usage (hp iPAQ 910c, WM 6.1):

I'd like have the option to disable the display of the protection icon on the today screen, but apparently that option is only available on the symbian os version, not the windows mobile version? My preference is to have that line of screen real estate for other things on the today menu. Please add this disable option to the WM version! Thanks for listening!

FYI, for a new user entering a new secret code, it is not immediately apparent that the secret code can only be digits. The manual does say this, if you look. The software mentions "weak" code; the manual has recommendation to use 7 digits, but doesn't say the word "weak".

Thanks,
Erik

I'm using an hp iPAQ 910c with WM 6.1.

I'm trying to write up what seemed to be odd behavior as accurately as I can, though I could be mistaken and next time it happens I'll have to pay more attention.

I turned the firewall up to the minimum: incoming connections blocked. Not sure if that is relevant or not, but the next time I got a text message, I got a pop up screen that asked if I wanted to white list or black list. This is fine in theory, but this happened when the phone was off, and I did not get any sound or other indicators. While waiting for me to respond to the security concern, my phone essentially stopped working as a business messenger, as I didn't get any calendar reminders while this popup was there. Of course, it started working again as soon as I turned it on, saw the security event, and did the appropriate (white) listing.

I think there are two points here:

(1) KMS should provide a "Sounds & Notification" settings capability, that allows the user to play a sound and/or vibrate like other notifications for various events (fyi, IMHO, in general, it is important not to turn on the phone if it is off as this is usually seen as an annoyance, but, vibrating or playing sounds is appropriate; all of this should be controllable via the Sounds & Notifications Settings.) This ability will alert the user of the event so they can react to it sooner. Is there some reason why a normal wm notification cannot be used, while putting the incoming items in quarantine or on hold or something in the mean time?

(2) Security should, as much as possible, allow the device to continue functioning, as in processing reminders, etc... even when security events arise. I think I was receiving email during this time, though not totally sure.

Thanks, and hope this is helpful,
Erik
