I've signed up for beta testing. It says I've to download from the ftp. I go here: ftp://ftp.kaspersky.com/beta/kms8.0/engli...0_22_en_ru.sisx and download
I send it to my Nokia N95 and try to install it and an error occurs "damaged file".
I've tried installing through nokia pc suite, by just copying it to the micro sd card, by sending it by irda and bluetooth.
I've download it 3 times just in case.
Triple checked the file size. All ok.
I've installed my other apps in my Nokia N95-1 without any problems.
It has the latest firmware V31.0.017.
I have also formatted the cell phone and reinstalled the latest firmware to try again. Same error appears: "damaged file".
Any solution?

I think Beta 2 will be released shortly, may be wait for that since bugs found during 1st Beta should have been sorted ou.

why should I? I tried that many times already and I don't see any difference in trying it again now... But ok just for you I've tried again right now. same error.
Also tried in a friends N95-1. same error.

0. Try to get another third-party sis-file. Can it be installed?
1. Is your phone unlocked?
2. Check that the size of sis-file is 529312 bytes.

this is so odd... are you sure your able to install other sis/sisx files on your phone?

Hey I have a hunch you tried to hack your phone with installserver thingy right? I read much about that trick(to install unsigned softwares) which causes software installations to get corrupted. possible reasons would be you have installed the wrong one for your phone...

0. Yes I can install another sis-files without problems.
1. unlocked? what you mean? locked to some networks? no it's unlocked I bought it in a nokia customer service point.
2. the file size is allways the same.

no hack. Read again. totaly new firmware 0 hacks.

anyway beta2 solved it. installed and working. I'll start testing. I'm very glad this is working =) Now I can help kaspersky.
