I look after a number fo workstations that are locked down, any applications that are installed when the workstation is in a locked down state or not trusted and are then blocked. This would include AV updates. The machines have a maintenance mode which users put them into on various different nights of the week. When in this mode they download Microsoft updates. We are also able to hook in scripts to trigger the updates for other applications (as long as they can run silently). Ideally I need to find a way to be able to call the Kaspersky update process by either calling and existing Kasperksy exe file of some other file. Has anyone got any ideas if this is possible ?

Thanks for the link, i have just found some stuff on avp.com as well but the FAQ is great. Glad to see that the Kaspersky community is so quick to help newbies like me
