Hi,
One of my machine having problem with the K icon not appearing on the tray (near the clock). When checked on the serives, it was started and when go to the Program files and force to run the menu, the icon still not appearing.
I've been tried to uninstall and reinstall the software, but the tray "K" icon still not appearing.

Any ideas why is that so? How can workaround?

Hi,

Try to remove KAV using the remover and then reinstall the product.
If it does not help, post a GetSystemInfo report of this computer.

Does avp.exe appear under the processes in task manager? If not you may have a virus. We had sality.aa here recently and that was one of the symptoms.

In fact I didn't notice. But when I checked on the services, the Kaspersky Antivirus is turned on. If the avp.exe not in the taskbar manager, what I can do with the sality.aa? Didn't Kaspersky detected that?
