I am currently working with a (virtualized) WinXP OS. my admin kit is on a win2k box that is getting to old to keep up the pace. Is there and easy way to transfer all the admin kit info and settings over to the new OS.

if not can some one give me a few pointers on what to take with me (key files and locations, scripts, so on and so forth) I am new to the game and inherited the system from some one who is no longer contactable.

Thank you in advance for any and all help

Check out the knowledge base article How to relocate Administration Server which has a good guide to how to do this. My only addition to it would be, if the SQL database is on a different server to the Admin Kit, you need to use UNC paths when using the KLBackup utility or the SQL server will look on it's own drives...
