Kaspersky Lab Forum > Beta Testing > Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0 Beta

Hello everyone,

I would like to report that my HTC touch pro got killed by KMS, it seems that way anyway.
When I rebooted my device for the second time, the vodafone boot screen was the only thing that was displayed, I waited 15 min. but no change.
A hard reset was necessary to get my phone working again.
If i can do anything to clarify what happened please tell me.

Also, I would like to report that when I use the "find" command, devices.exe gives an error report.

Did anything strange happen during install?

Nope, went just fine. Too bad I can´t get any kind of records from a hard resetted machine otherwise we might be able to find the cause

Viktor said in another thread that next beta will be out next week. You might want to try that

I had a similar issue here with a HTC Touch Pro. Just as stated previously upon the second soft reset the screen was not operating properly. I was able to get far enough into the system to un-install KMS8.0 and everything appears back to normal. On my PPC the "Touch Flo" app did not seem to be loading as well as error message from the OS on 2nd reboot of a error from filesys.exe. I have looked around the device to see if anything is amiss, but so far all apps and data seem to be OK. I wonder if this is related to how the Touch Flo app is implemented?

The problem will be fixed in the second beta

And how about the battery life? That was really dramatic with KMS running

You should check this problem with the 2nd beta
