Hi there,

Since last Monday 02/03/09 when we got an update which requested to restart the computers, every time we try to shut down a computer is staying in this process forever and we need to press the botton to force the restart. The startup is working properly but suddenly the computer is block, you can't do anything, the keyboard and mouse are working but you can't do anything else.

We have Windows Vista Business O.S. and Kaspersky Workstation 6 (6.0.3.837).

Thanks for you help

same story here, since last week (f.?) it's been a mess.
Using Vista SP1 &, MP3: Random freezes, and all pcs show "Shutting down" for ever when powering down/restarting.
Is it possible to downgrade to e. ?

thank you for any feedback

Hi there,

when you go to uninstall "Kaspersky" you got one option to repair it. Yesterday I did that in 5 computers. Two of them have got the problem again, other two both problems have disappeared and at the last one is not getting stuck until now but it still has the problem with the shutting down.

Yesterday I sent to Kaspersky Support Center in UK the sysinfo file and they told that wasn't anything wrong on it. They had to send it to main office in Russia for a deeper investigation.

Everything started last Monday, see this link http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=102989

In the post above there is one possible solution, have a look.

Cheers
