I need to find out if this is a false detection or not. We backup the user’s quickbooks to a server and the server is dectecting this:
detected: Trojan program Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.aack File: D: \Intuit\QuickBooks Pro\Components\PConfig\Data1.cab/BSZIP.DLL
From what I inderstand this file is needed if we need to recover quickbooks.
Any help would be great.

Getting the same detection here. I'm excluding it.

Hello,

Please send the file in a password protected archive to newvirus@kaspersky.com
Put [False Positive] in the subject, and specify the password in the body.
Threats definition will then be fixed in the next update.

I'll send it thanks

Hi,
I am getting this same virus but in a different location. Are you saying it is a false positive, and not a virus?

We have a policy of reloading the OS for infected computers, so I'd like to verify before going through that effort.

Thanks,

Bill
