Please can someone explain this to me?

I have the admin kit installed on a server. I have created the Groups and Polices. Now I want to push the clients onto the workstations onto all the clients in a certain group. The remote install only lists the 'Network Agent' as a package. Is this the client that needs to pushed out? I dont understand. So anyways I push out the network agent...it fails.

I copy the entire network package to a client and run the exe files. Installs the software. I can see that the admin server is now communicating with the server.

Can someone explain what the network agent is exactly? Is it different from the workstation client?
