Full Version: Weird scanner bug

Ok I was developing a j2me game and sent it through my phone for testing. After that I did a scan on my phone and got this little bug inside my j2me application which causes KAV scanning to stop and stuck up.

As you can see the scanner is reading that the zip file is composed of multiple "gm" folders but what's really inside the zip file is just a single "gm" file without a folder.
.
The bug is happening whenever the file is inside a zip or jar archive. So if you want to test it out don't extract it from the zip file I will be providing.

http://exolight.net/a1/gm.zip
.
My phone is N80IE just in case you need that info.

OMG! Now I know the file was corrupt after all which cause it to loop like that.. I didn't see it cause whenever I extract it using my mobile it works fine. Thanks for the info victor! Fixed that now... But I think KAV should skip corrupt archives also to avoid these problems in the future. It might be a problem who knows.

We have just reproduced that problem with another archive!

Thats odd... I can't seem to reproduce it on another corrupt archive... It just happens on the gm file I made... Anyways will it be fixed through a database update or on the next release?

Unfortunately, it can be fixed only with the next beta
Riyal
Ok viktor thanks! Gonna wait for the next beta. Hope there will be less bugs on the next.
