I am not sure if anyone else is having the same problem, but I am have big problems with huge amounts of spyware on my computer. It has been a week since i did a scan it it picked a huge amount, around 300 pieces of spyware. I use ad-aware se personal. I am not sure if the firewall is suppose to detect and stop this action. Me and my wife use the computer for news IE foxnews.com, courttv.com and I know that myspace is full of spyware but everytime i do a scan it doesn't pick up that much spyware. I just get tired of doing spyware scans all the time on the system.

Spyware shouldn't just pop into your computer. Is it just cookies? Then you can just set your browser not to accept cookies, and create exceptions for the sites you really need cookies for. Cookies aren't dangerous, 99.9% of the time.

hello
and what exacty did ad aware detect? the firewall doesn't blcok spyware, it filters packets based on rules, blocks outbound connection attempts until you confirm them blocks inbound attacks & unsolicited packets. -------------------- |
