I installed 7 right over 6 and everything seems fine, all settings saved. Is there any setting I should change? Any new settings that should be turned on/off?

Thanks

Not really, but if you see the slightest problem, then please uninstall completely and at the max keep activationdata, reboot and reinstall fresh.

You can also keep the antispam database. That wouldn't cause any problem either. I have never heard of a problem with it. wink.gif

Works about the same after not scanning port 80

That is of course the risk you are willing to take by not scanning HTTP Traffic for malware smile.gif

But if it gets past that, wont the realtime av catch it?

Mostly, yes, but nowadays there are some clever malware around exploiting via the browser, so thats why the web-av was developed.

Well that stinks sad.gif the speed hit it takes is bad when it is on scan port 80.

Not for me, not even near bad, i generally never notice it & for most it's the same, but yes some see significant slowdowns and there are usually a thirdparty involved and this is of course the tricky part discovering which. smile.gif

P.s. You should be ok with port 80 unchecked though if it's bad.

Exactly, something is definately conflicting. As I stated before you will need to check your setup. You will always take a perfomance hit, as the traffic must be stopped and scanned. No other suites provide a faster implementation than KIS smile.gif
