but today I check with KIS 7 and KIS 6, this software is not working.

Hello
try adding it to the trusted applications lsit in the threats and exclusions section with all 4 options checked.

If you have allowed all popups to the program, and not said no. I would look at 2 things first.

1. Firewall may be blocking the attempt to activate. If it times out before the popup for permissions happens it will go no futher. A lot of software can do this. Does it work with the firewall on low setting (below training mode) ?

http://apnitally.blogspot.com/2006/10/gett...with-tally.html

2. Look at the packet filtering, and allow loopback for tcp/udp

If these 2 items don't help, you may need to look at the rules, which Lucian is asking. Maybe you inadvertadily blocked something by mistake ?

Or try to run the program the first time without KiS running to install the license key from the internet, once that is done start KiS again.

When I exit from KIS, still Tally is not working.

But when I uninstall KIS and again I installed Tally and its working !!

After tally installation (KIS was uninstalled), I run tally several times and now I have installed KIS, again its stopped to work.

I think, Tally is having few password protected files and KIS is blocking them.

Now how to enable them ?

After formatting I have installed NOD32 + Comodo and Tally is working excellent.

I think, some problem with KIS only. ( I am having three years subscription).

Sorry to hear it won't work, maybe ask a few questions about what it might be.

What was the system like before the format happened. Did you think of trying all the software again, it may run ?

Did you try a repair of Windows ? Or a sytem file integrety check - SFC from microsoft ?

What ports does this software use, would have it in the trusted, and don't scan networking of the software, may it have worked then ?

What else is running at startup, does turning others off, or uninstalling, reinstalling a few other startup programs help ?

Temp/ Prefetch folders, and the sort, is anything left over that could be
hindering it ?

Try to enable Compatability Mode as Lucian previously posted.

Edit: Just downloaded and installed Tally9 with no problems and also no PDM warnings.
Can manage to open it upto the activation screen (because I donot have serial number) via the shortcut on desktop (linking to C:\Tally\tally9.exe).
What version are you using... I tried with v9.1.3 from here: http://experts.tallysolutions.com/website/...oductLine=Tally

WinXP SP2, KIS7.0.0.125
