I installed the trial version of KIS 6.0.2.614 on my computer running vista ultimate 32 bit operating system.
After the installation and when the computer boots up. Its coming up with the message "some protection components have malfunctioned". In the KIS console some of the components showing in red colour 1)antivirus 2)proactive defence 3)anti-hack I looked through the forum and there isnt any resolution for this. Tried contacting kaspersky but that facility is available to only registered user. I really appreciate if some one can suggest a solution for this. NB: I have already tried repairing and reinstalling the application. This post has been edited by kroa_chandy: 12.03.2007 15:45 |

No WD, or One Care Live, correct? http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=5233 Do you use a router? No other PFW installed? The installation of AH should disable the Vista FW. It does with XP. See this also, if you haven't. http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=915 Welcome to the KL Users Forum. Ron |

QUOTE(Don Pelotas @ 12.03.2007 22:08) I found the solution !!! After installation if you get this error message. do the following:- 1) click on modify, repair or remove. 2) select repair. 3) complete the repair (choose default options) 4) restart the computer And it works absolutely fine. |
