Windows 8.1 Pro x64
KIS 14.0.0.4651(e)
Thunderbird 24.3.0

I frequently get prompted by KIS with the following dialog:

Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established
Reason: This certificate or the certificate chain is built on an untrusted root center.

Attached File  annoying_cert_dialog.jpg ( 15,21K ) Number of downloads: 28

Before installing KIS, and when I first installed and set Thunderbird up, I had to add an exception to Thunderbird, but never had a problem after that.

I've installed the Kaspersky certificate.

Is there any way to prevent this KIS prompt, without disabling SSL in Thunderbird, SSL scanning in KIS, or switching hosts?

Tried switching from SSL to STARTTLS in Thunderbird; made no difference.

I guess only disabling SSL scan in KIS.
