The "B" hotfix/patch is now released. As usual it will be a staged release over the next few days.

Simply reboot after an update and you should be able to see the "B" designation if you click on "Support" in the main window of Kaspersky. Again, not all will see this immediately, it will take a few days all users to get this patch.

You can check the update report to see if it's installed...instead of rebooting every 3 hours and get frustrated! smile.gif

An updated installer will be made for Windows 8.1 when it (8.1) is officially released and this does not mean the 8.1 RTM version. It means after the official release of Windows 8.1 on the 18th of october

One of the listed fixes states "some interface issues". Does this mean that the "advanced" features that were in 2013 and not in 2014 are available in 2014 with this update?

Just so everyone knows, the installer with the included patch B is out: http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/software-upgrades.

Now us Win8.1 users can finally install...!

Only one Kaspersky addon happens to be compatible with IE11's enhanced protected mode. Work needs to be done on that.

Hello,

Actually IE 11 is still a preview version and not a final release ....

I see that the latest version of KIS2014 has just changed from 14.0.0.4651b to 14.0.0.4651ab (strange, why not "c"?)

Is there any documentation on what the changes are? I've had a look and not found anything.

no patch C has been released yet. It is most likely incremental changes to internal files which aren't a full patch but caused the GUI change regarding b to ab.
