im same problem but this problem solve ;

open kis 2012 (i) version settings ; open advantage settings ; open internal protection kis 2012 setting ; internal protection open setting disabled and you are kis 2012 closed (kis 2012 exit )
you are go documents settings for xp ; C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP12/Bases
and delete klava folder , delete ; cache folder ;
and restart kis 2012 ; run kis 2012 ; open internal protection setting. and update kis 2012.

if you are same problem found ; return h patch but restore h patch ???????

im using i patch kis 2012 and not problem. and im disabled automatically update setting ; im manual updating kis 2012 database and please you are kis 2012 settings/update setting and backup update folder setting open ; and if you are same problem you are update C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP12 update in distribition folder.

and where is kis 2012 folder in win7,vista ???? for xp C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP12/Bases

and for win7,vista ??????????????? where is the folder ?????

im using xp and im not using win7-vista.
