When is attempt a Google search, i am directed to a "new" search engine, named BLEKKO.
A new page pops up, showing the works " A new browser tab for Blekko" When I attempt to create an email in Yahoo Mail, the following is automatically inserted in the text: new browser tab powered by blekko ABOUT HELP DISABLE © 2012 blekko, inc. . I have Kaspersky Pure, and have never run into any virus problems before. I'm running a new Kaspersky update and new scan at this moment. Does Kaspersky Pure get rid of this virus? If not, what is a safe way to get rid of it? It's similar to the "Google redirect" but the virus on my PC has the Blekko insert in all my new emails. I am a novice when it comes to viruses and such things. Thanks, Patrick B May 2 2012 |

Welcome. Enable Other threat category, instructions: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208286142 > ok>ok, and do a scan.
After that, please uninstall any and all junk toolbars > reboot, and uninstall/disable any and all junk browser add-ons, then remove any and all junk search providers in your browsers, then change your home page. If still no go after that, please see the first Important topic. -------------------- Please see the Important topics, located at the top of this section, and at the top of other sections of this forum.
