necessary resource is unavailable on the activation server, error during activating kaspersky internet security 2012 Options

I recently purchased "kaspersky internet security 2012" for single
user and when I entered the activation key provided on the manual I am getting an error saying" necessary
resource is unavailable on the activation server". How to get rid of
this error and activate the product.

I also encountered the same problem. So i contacted the kaspersky support and got the issue resolved. Following is the mail i got from them

Dear Valued Customer,

Good day!

Thank you for contacting us.

Activation Error :--"Necessary resource is unavailable on the activation Server"

To resolve your issue with the Kaspersky Activation please follow the below steps.
1) Click on Activate Trial version.
2) Click on Next & finish.
3) Click on Update & Run Update 100%. Then,
4) Click on Manage License.
5) Click on Enter Activation Code.
6) Enter 20 digit Activation Code.
7) Click on Next & finish.

Or, you can resolve this issue by downloading the new patch of 2012 version and activate with same 20 digit activation code.

Please find the below link to download the respective Kaspersky 2012 product (Version 12.0.0.374 – English) with patch (a, b, c, d, e):

Kindly confirm whether your license has activated for one year validity or not.

There is a problem in activation of KAV 2012, I have checked the system settings and firewall ...

"necessary resource is unavailable on the activation server"

1) Click on Activate Trial version.

I am too facing the same problem !!
Although I have tried all the basic steps written above viz. after installing the trial version... etc. but its still giving me the same error message .
I have also set up a request to Kaspersky support , but it is still unanswered .

Dunno what to do next !!
