This forum section is for beta-testing Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows.

Beta version is an official build for public testing. It helps detecting errors and weak points in a product, and gathering opinions and suggestions.

What is special about beta versions:
- It can be activated with a beta key and does not accept commercial activation codes or key files.
- Kaspersky Lab (Technical Support incl.) bears no responsibility for a beta version performance.
- New builds cannot be installed on top of a beta version.

Installation
You can start testing by downloading a distribution package from this server: Download

Activation
After installing the application, you should activate the beta version in Internet (select the option "activate beta version"). Activation with a key file is also possible. The .key file can be found inside the Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 archive.

Program update
When a new beta becomes available, you should replace with it the one you have installed. To do it, you should download the last beta distribution package, terminate the antivirus and uninstall it via Control Panel > Add or remove programs. Then install the new beta version.

User's manuals
The User's manual is downloaded along with the archive.
Please be aware that this is an UNFINISHED user's manuals, it can contain mistakes. If you notice a mistake, please report it in a topic.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows cannot function together with other Kaspersky Lab antivirus programs (AVPTool, CRYSTAL, etc.). If such a program is installed in the system, the installer is supposed to prompt the user to delete it before continuing to install Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows.
