Being a computer dummy, hope someone can tell me what the following is and should I be concerned. Thanks for any and all help!!

Did a KAV vulnerability scan. Item below showed with a Blue circle and excamlation mark inside. KAV said item did not need to be fixed. It also showed on the detailed report as a vulnerability.


Blue circle then - File Contains Vulnerability

Time: 6/9/2011 2:33:29 pm

Application: KAV

Object: c:\programfiles(x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe

Result: Detected:http://redirect.Kaspersky.com/?hl=en-UStargaret=securelistrpe=1function=advisoriesVN-44784

Java vulnerabilities can be fixed by going to control pannel and clicking java/updates. Then run scan again....should be gone

same with Adobe flashplayer......open, update, run scan again. Both Flash and Java should be set for auto updates to avoid. otherwise update regularly

That's what I thought, but I cannot find anything for the Adobe Flash Player in the control panel. There was an icon for the JAVA but I don't see Adobe Flash Player.

Updated both IE and Firefox and now vulnerability message is gone.........thank you both for your help....I really appreciate it
