Been using KIS2011 for weeks now, no worries, until today. "Update Failed", due to,

"Not enough Rights For The File Operation"

What's that all about then?

Hello

> Please uninstall "Ask Toolbar"

> You are running KIS 11.0.1.1400 latest version is 11.0.2.556
> Take care to uninstall current version before upgrading to the latest version

> Can you try to free up some space on your "C" drive

If no fix :
In the updates setting there is an option to run the updates "as administrator"

Thank you Berny, I will follow your advice and post the result.
ps. I'm also an idiot, the problem is on my main pc, not on the laptop I posted the scan report from. rolleyes.gif ( it was the point about C drive space that made me realise that ), but I will check for latest version on the problem machine, and Ask Toolbar.

Hi

The topic shows as well how to save your settings but you need to uninstall v 400 and reinstall v 556

I hope you have more luck than I did, I uninstalled the older version then was unable to install the new one, got a message saying I may be infected and to download AVPtool, which would not download. I had to shut down my main machine as it now has no protection.
