Hi, and thanks for this forum:
I purchased Kaspersky 2011 Antivirus but was unable to install it, the message said it was likely due to a virus, and to download and run the Virus Removal tool, which I have done (the virus seems to also have disabled the windows installer). I ran the removal tool in auto mode, and kept receiving Kaspersky pop-ups saying "password required". I then ran it in manual mode, and am enclosing the zip file it generated. I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks, David in Pensacola, FL

Welcome. The log looks clean. Please uninstall Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool > reboot, then post your GetSystemInfo report link, instructions are located in the first Important read me topic.
