Popup blocker needs improving:

I found a site to test popup blockers: www.popuptest.com.
Kaspersky passed a lot of test but did not stop 4 types of popups:

floating popup
Drop down popup
floating banner
Sticky popup

IE and Opera does not block them either so i don't know whether it's possible / wanted to block these types of popups.

Ran through all of them using Firefox and the only one which got through was the Drop Down popup although the "Mouse over popup" and "Chromeless" were blocked by firefox
None of the good popups were blocked
Tried with IE6 and odd difference. With Firefox they were just blocked but with IE6 there was a KIS popup saying they had been blocked.
However it didn't block the Drop Down, Floating and Floating Banner

just had a look at the normal forum and found that KIS popup blocker doesn't work with Firefox which tells me that the Firefox blocker is better than KIS + IE6 blocker sad.gif

Firefox's popup blocker is getting there before KIS. That's why you don't see any results while using FF.

According to this thread it doesn't work not that the Firefox blocker gets in first.
My point was that the Firefox blocker does a better job than KIS + IE6 as it blocks more of the tests

I wonder why it doesn't work. I must admit I've always thought the programming of FF's blocker was different, making it block faster and quicker, but perhaps it's a browser they, KL Devs, haven't engineered KIS' popup blocker to work with properly yet.
