i was using the trail verision earlier it expired and it took me i week to get it registered as i was not in station,

due to which my system was infected with win32.autoit.x bug and others even after registering kaspersky the bug was not

removed and instead it showed scan successful, i disabled autorun on my system and installed spybot in safemode and got it

removed, now the problem is "databases are absolute" and update failure.

i even checked the date and time there was a difference in time i changed it but the same problem continues even after

reboot, plz guide.

(1) Please check if system date/time is correct

(2) Please check also Proxy Server settings :
Settings > My Update Center > Update Source Settings > Proxy Server > Uncheck Proxy Server > OK > OK > Apply > OK

Please remove Spybot.

Can you try via the OpenDns servers :

Preferred DNS server : 208.67.222.222 (Primary)

Altnerative Dns sever : 208.67.220.200 (Secondary)

thks problem solved :-)

why was it that i was infected with these worms even with kaspersky installed (but it was not activated & the trail verson had expired), and even

later after activation it was not able to remove these worms.

Also proceed with a new full scan to exclude any DNS-infection.
