From a point of privacy i 100% approve Kamille's new implementation.

I agree. Privacy of the users is more important than the forgetfulness of some helpers.

Hello,

Anyway , there is no problem at all for any user that is interested to view all the reports :
Just proceed with a one time registration for free on the http://www.getsysteminfo.com
The first time i got prompted i just entered my user & pw (i was already registered) and that's it ...

I think that the process like it is now is just/only a basic filtering that everybody can bypass
which means the door is closed but you can obtain the key to enter whenever you want.

I am sure that most users that are in trouble do not even check their Gsi report,
and are only looking out to obtain a.s.a.p a solution that will fix the problem ....

Maybe i missed some posts but till now on the main UK-FR-NL Forum i only saw a couple of (pos) comments
regarding this new implementation.

Hi all,

i don't understand, why can't some bad guys, who steal private info (sure, GSI is full of privacy, size of hard disks, or the model of printer are very interesting for frauds) just also register and download reports till the end of a hard dick capacity? I don't really think, that the registration can stop these bad guys, but i'm sure that it will inconvenient for regular forum guests.

BTW, if you'll decide to add registration, make, please also OpenID/GoogleID authorization.

OK. Make two ways to upload the report - free mode and private, being selected by special checkbox turned of by default. If user has uploaded the report for private use, then only GSI members can observe it. Who wants to keep the privacy of his report will use this feature.

I don't understand the problem. Two or more years all was all right and now something had happened... What? Why you protect them from viewing and rating their own or someone else files without registration?

We are all submitting our personal (positive or negative) opinion about this matter

I am not a beta tester or a moderator I am a simple user.I use Kaspersky from version 4 or 4.5 I cannot remember.I like a lot the GSI Report but I donnot like the new situation that in order to see somebody's Gsi Parser I have to make an account.
Before was much better.

1. Most users that do not know what is happening and come here for advice,
usually post the .txt or .zip file and anyone interested in viewing would, and I know I still do, upload it for viewing it.

2. Maybe the tool can change to add a function for a "select checkbox" or some such button, HJT uses a .txt as the standard report, and does not open the fully functioning tool. The program at this point should alert to "system altering functions - beware",
before allowing deleting or some such function.

3. Do you need to make it similar to AVZ and run a script to allow it cleaning?

4. These are only a few questions, and I could ask more, however, as this forum does not allow image viewing, maybe there could be a filter set in place for viewing the live link only via being a member/user of this forum, or even the Fan Club? People tend not to want to log-in for something they may only use once when requested by users from here?

I agree with yr proposition.
I remember 2-3 months ago was a user having a lot of problems.As usual the other users

of the forum told him "PLEASE upload yr GSI Parser"
His reply was : I donnot want to see everybody nothing of my personal settings.And he

preferred to remove Kaspersky and install some other Suite or Antivirus.
So the "free" mode and the private one seems a good idea!!!!!!!

If Privacy is a big issue with people, then why not have it so that mod's can only view the GSI reports?
Now you maybe wondering, "what about us other forum members?".....well you would have to be invited by a mod in order to view GSI reports (kind of like a "one time pass".)

What's everyone's thoughts on this approach? (note, this doesn't involve the rating system)

You can see any GSI Report only if you create an account.
