the ironic thing for me is that I got this message from only one site. every other site I went to, I had no problems. when I sent them a message about the problem, they sent me a link to here.

Hi,

I receivd a mail from kaspersky in response to the screenshots of the recent scan that I sent across. Here's what they say:

Hello,

Sorry, it was a false detection. It will be fixed in the next update.
Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,

Hope this will comfort us for the time being smile.gif

Just registered as i thought that I had picked up a serious problem on the net. It would appear that you are all suffering from the same Trojan.JS.Redirector.ar I did email Kaspersky for help, but they have not been back in contact yet. FALSE ALARM!!! what a comfort this is after investing the past couple of hours tearing my hair out! dash1.gif

Ahh, thanks for info Jan.

To add this false-positive to exclusions, open Kaspersky's Settings and click Threats and Exclusions - (exclusions) Settings - Add.
Untick "Object" and tick "Threat type".
Enter the threat name Trojan.js.redirector.ar
Click all the OKs.

I have anti-banner enabled and the google ads are blocked by it and there's no tojan redirector warning.

So do i have to add the exclusion also, is it for the kaspersky users or just who are getting warnings or

i might get some in the future so i must add it to exclusion............

If you want to exclude this particular false-detection, do so.
If you dont, dont.

Hi, Please help me most websites infected with Trojan.js.redirector.ar

Its show me this URL as infected when i join most websites: xxp://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js

I understand its google adv but its strange that my kaspersky internet security 9.0.0.463 shows me as its infected, what should i do ? its safe to skip it?

I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.7 latest version

edit: disable link.

I experienced the same problem as the user above. I also used the same browser as the user above. Every I open a website, my Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 detected the virus, but could not perform cleaning the virus. What's the best way to do this. I have updated my virus database as at to-date. I also my Kaspersky Report file for your perusal. mad.gif
