I am interested in using Ultra Surf and am getting mixed views....Some say it is malware, others say it is not. I am aware of the basics of how it operates, and the potential for harm is rather scary.
Kaspersky allowed it to install on my system, so was it white listed intentionally? Thanks |

No. Personally, I wouldn't input passwords in there though incase something is logging it in the middle, but surfing the internet with it is fine.

Hi,
Does anyone know if Ultrasurf is malware? I did a search on these forums, but only came up with 2 posts which were in languages I do not read. This post at Wilders Security says it is, but the post itself reads like a paranoid schizophrenic's dissertation. Any help appreciated, as Ultrasurf seems like a really valuable tool, if it's not malware. Thanks, L. //Merged. Please see post #2.
