Went from a competitors product to 6.0.3.837 on my first test machine.
WIN XP PRO SP2 - 1.8Ghz - 1GB Ram.

Machine is painfully slow. Deactivating KL machine speeds up - a lot.

Started tweaking and disableing certain features, helps a little.

How can this be so horribly slow ?

Any suggestions.

We bought 75 licenses, I am beginning to wonder if this was a mistake.

Not feeling any benefit at all.

Please specify the name and version of Kaspersky product for example Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 6.0.3.837.
And please attach here the report file of GetSystemInfo utility, upload that file on http://support.kaspersky.fr/getsysteminfo/ and post the link of that report here.

Okay. Says Kaspersky Anti Virus for Windows Workstation (under Help).

The link for GetSystemInfo fails, so I'll search and see if I can find a good link to that routine.
