After installing Kaspersky Anti-virus 6.0.387 on a particular client machine running Windows XP Pro with SP3, the user now experiences multiple error messages almost constantly. The first few specific error messages reference three .exe files: dwwin.exe, igfxsrvc.exe, and verclsid.exe. However, in the last few hours, the error messages have multiplied and are now referencing everything possible. I posted the GetSystemInfo file on this post. Could the incompatible software be responsible for all of these errors? Last time I checked their pc, there were about 20 error messages on the desktop so I'd REALLY appreciate anyone that can help me! Thanks

I uninstalled the program Startup Mechanic that was listed as possibly incompatible and the errors are still flowing.

Also, the Symantec IDS is not actually running on the system. Is the mere presence of the files enough to cause these errors to occur?

Hello,

What is the exact content of these error messages ?
Have a look at the Event viewer, there may be more details about these errors.

Hello,

You can send these files (kernel32.dll, igfxsrvc.exe & rundll32.exe) to the VirusLab then you'll be sure they aren't infected.

Also try to enable the compatibility mode in Kaspersky Anti-Virus under "Settings" > "Service" enable the option "Compatibility mode".
Restart the computer and see if it helps.
