I am a fairly novice Windows user, and very novice regarding viruses.
An online financial institution informed me of an attack on my account (and took it offline), and told me the security risk was not at their end. I scanned my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 2650 running Windows professional XP, with Kaspersky Internet Security ver 7.0.

The only detected item, described as "riskware: Hidden data sending" was "C;\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\HelpCtr.exe" This file was first detected months ago, and I have assumed (perhaps naively) that it is a legitimate windows program that sends user data to Microsoft. Is this so, or can it contain a virus? And what do I do then?

I did a Google search with the file name, and did not find mention if this file being associated with viruses, but I may not have search correctly or understood. A friend told me to try my antivirus company's user form.

Thank you for any help.
