use the program on sysinternals website (i think its called process explorer) to find out which process it is, if it's winlogon.exe we have the same problem here but it doesn't do any harm if it's legitimate.

Hello,

Please read this FAQ.

I had the same prolem with self-defense here at work with 4 PCs.

When it happens, the PC that had the process blocked by self-defense component turned off by the network. It's causing many problems because nobody can access the printer that's installed at this PC and the user of this PC doesn't have access to domain server.

I read the FAQ that Tybilly sent but when I went to chech the PID number, the process wasn't at the list anymore, probably because it was finalized by self-defense component.

Hi

Is it safe to add winlogon.exe to the trusted zone in KAV? What would the implications of this be?

Thanks

Matt
