I've just upgraded to KIS 2009 v 454. Both the full and the quick scans detected the following
04/08/2008 10:19:32 AM Detected: Heur.AntiAV C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{C32ACEF8-937B-40BC-84B0-FB81EE655AB4}\Sunbelt CounterSpy.msi/Data1.cab/sunasinstallhelper.exe I deleted Sunbelt Personal firewall prior to installing KIS a couple of years ago. I never installed Sunbelt Counterspy. Should I be concerned? How do I delete these traces from my system? Thanks! |

It looks like a false positive, send the detected file to newvirus@kaspersky.com, title it "False Positive". http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=13881 |

Hi. It looks like a false positive, send the detected file to newvirus@kaspersky.com, title it "False Positive". http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=13881 I tried to send a copy from quarantine but got a system undeliverable message "can't send to this account newvirus@kaspersky.com. " |

Update kaspersky and scan it again to see if it is still detected.
If its not detected, dont wory. If it is detected, send it again, ensure the e-mail address is newvirus@kaspersky.com If it does not work, please PM it to me. When sending the file to Kaspersky's viruslab, was the file in a password protected archive? (by the way, remember to include the password in the text body of the e-mail. Remember to make the subject "possible heuristic false positive" |

Remember to make the subject "possible heuristic false positive" When I checked quarantine it was no longer listed. When I scanned again it reappeared in quarentine. When I try the send option from quarantine I get an error message "Cannot complete operation. Object not found" |

Try to restore it from quarantine and send it.
Else, just leave it, seeing as you dont use or need it, it doesnt matter. |

While its true I don't need or use the program I prefer not to be warned each time I do a scan. Check out the number of objects Kaspersky says are in quarentine (although only one is actually listed). Obviously something is not working quite right.
