dear all

I've just been infected by QV06.
I've removed all suspicious programs, check the add-ons on my WEB browser; but this is not fixing the issue.

I've posted my system info on: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...a3629d73cac17e6

I do have Kaspersky anti-virus on my machine, should complete san fix the issue ?

regards
Philippe

Welcome. Below are the complete instructions. Please describe the issue that you see, and do the parts that you have not done yet:

Settings > Advanced settings (cardboard box icon) > Threats and exclusions > Detection types > Settings > enable Other > ok>ok, and do a databases update > reboot,
then do a scan. After that, please uninstall any and all junk toolbars > reboot, and uninstall/disable any and all junk browser add-ons and extensions, then remove any and all junk
search providers in your browsers, then if need be, change your home page.

If still no go, please see: Kaspersky Lab Forum > English User Forum > Virus-related issues > the first Important topic. There, you will find instructions for two logs.

Please see the small print that is located at the bottom of this message.

No. You do this via Kaspersky window that can be accessed a couple ways. Either Right click the K tray icon > Settings or left click and when the window open > Settings(upper right). http://support.kaspersky.com/kav2013/settings

Thank you very Much.
I've made the necessary updates. reboot, and re-run a full scann.

Still having a small issue, when openning IE, it goes by default to QV06.com Web page.

I removed all what I could remove from the IE settings. I've no more Idea :dash1 :

Sorry for my intruding ...

Check the Properties of the IE shorcuts in Your system, probably They are "infected" to still redirect IE to that site ...

Regards.
